You have heard of the importance of exfoliatng your skin. Right?  Well, the same applies to the lips. Exfoliating your lips removes dead layers of skin, keeping your lips smooth, moist and kissable - preventing cracked and chapped lips.  Another awesome added benefit to exfoliating your lips is that it makes lipstick, lip gloss and lip balm applications last longer!  

 

Scentapy's Lip Scrubs consist of Beeswax (to protect), Shea Butter and Coconut Oil (to moisturize), Organic Sugar (to exfoliate) and Essential or flavor oil (to make you happy!).

The Oil Cleansing Method (OCM) is not a new concept, it has been around for thousands of years.  In fact, before the widespread availability of soap, people in many cultures used oil to cleanse their skin.

 

OCM is based on the basic chemistry rule that "like dissolves like." When massaged into the skin, oils bind to surface impurities [pulling out dirt and dead skin cells without clogging pores] and allow them to be rinsed away leaving the skin clean, soft and hydrated.  

 

The plant, fruit and vegetable oils used for the cleansing method also contain properties that treat acne or fight the effects of aging among other things – to improve the texture and appearance of your skin!

Did you know that Scentapy does not use artificial colorants in our soap?  So how do we get that fabulous color?  Well....it comes from nature!  Scentapy uses herbs, clays, fruit powders and vegetables to add natural color to our soaps.  Not only do these natural additives give the soap awesome color, but they also have great benefits for your skin!   Lets talk about a few of them:
